"Guess what, Dib-love?" Zim said, almost jumping out of his seat with excitement when he saw Dib enter the class room that morning.

"What?" Dib asked, interest perking as he instantly walked to Zim's Desk, not even catching the public 'love'.

"They're writing about us on the bathroom walls." Zim said in a low voice as if it was a big, dirty secret, the excitement in his voice could not be mistaken. Who didn't want to be written about on a public school bathroom wall, right?

"Wait, what?" Dib asked in equal secrecy, not sure how to take this. "What- which one? Where? What did it say?"

"Not much in the boy's bathrooms." Zim said, seeming disappointed by this. "But apparently there's SOMETHING about us in all of the girl bathrooms."

The alien couldn't help but laugh as he remembered something Zita had told him a few minutes before Dib had arrived. "There's a written debate in permanent marker in one bathroom over which of us would be on top."

"What?" Dib deadpanned. "That’s... That’s... hilarious! You want to sneak in there later and find out how it went?" Dib snickered.

"You have no idea how itching I am to do that very thing right now." Zim said, though appearing calm. "There's another debate in one of the stalls of one about how long we've been going out."

Dib slapped his forehead at that one, letting his hand slide down to his chin. "That's almost as interesting as the dominance one. What do you say we check out both?" Dib asked, feeling lightly humored, but at the same time kind of scared that this had spread around school so fast.

"I want to check them all out. We should stay after skool and when no one's around go to all of the bathrooms and see what's being said about us." Zim said, his eyes shining in that plotting way.

Dib grinned. "Do you think more will be written by the end of the day?"

Zim nodded, smirking slight as he asked quietly, "Want to give them something to write about?"
Dib smirked and leaned forward, hands on the desk. "How many bathroom stalls do you want filled?"

"All of them." Zim whispered, his smirk only growing.

Dib grinned almost insanely as he bent over more, and despite the teacher already being there in the room and beginning to walk over, he pulled Zim by the collar of his shirt and started giving him kisses all over his lips.

Smiling, Zim closed his eyes and reached a hand up to caress Dib's cheek lightly, his eyes brows raising as he heard the excited whispers of their female peers and the disgusted whispers of the males.

Dib grinned in the kiss, finding the attention rather desirable. He rested a hand on Zim's chest where it began slipping lower and lower and lower until it reached the shirt's end. It was Dib's job, of course to lift it up, over the pants.

Zim flinched a little. Dib's fingers were cold! 'Oh, well,' Zim thought. "They'll get warmer if they stay there much longer."

Dib's fingers tunneled their way down Zim's pants when--

"Dib and Zim, may I talk to the two of you for a moment in private, please?"

Dib started, and quickly pulled away from Zim entirely, looking up at Mr. Paine fearfully. "Wh-what?"
"You. Two. With me. Now."

The whole class began giggling and laughing.
Zim pouted but stood, asking almost innocently, "What is it?"

The teacher scowled and pointed out the door, in which Dib nervously obliged, looking back at Zim.

Zim followed, head held high, indicating he felt he did nothing wrong.

The class giggled some more, and the second the teacher closed the door after he himself left with them, the whole room roared with talk.

Dib, trying to ignore the classroom buzzing through the door, looked up timidly at Mr. Paine, a bald headed, large nosed man.

Zim looked up as well, waiting for whatever was to come. He didn't understand why Dib looked so nervous, the worst this man could do was give them detention. And what was so scary about detention? They wanted to stay after skool anyway.

"Zim, Dib, I am highly disappointed in your behavior in class today!" Mr. Paine furrowed his brows.
"But we hadn’t even really started class!" Dib protested.

"DIB!" The man argued back. "I'm sick of this! You're getting the class all riled up! Now, you two… boys… need to learn to keep your hands and mouths to yourselves. If this happens again you're going to the principal’s office and both of your parents are going to be called!"

Zim almost cracked up laughing at that. Zim had no parents and as far as he knew Dib's didn't care in the least.

Dib, however, seemed less than enthusiastic, and his head dropped with a small "Yes, sir..."
Zim pouted at Dib for giving in so easy but he followed suit and nodded to Mr. Paine, saying, "Yeah, yeah."

"Now, I expect you to go in there and I expect you two to BEHAVE!" Mr. Paine pointed to the door once more. "This means NO TOUCHING!" He shuddered. "Don’t even hold hands."
Dib looked worriedly up at the man and back at Zim, then at the door.

"You may go."

Zim sighed disappointedly but went back into the room, glancing behind him at Dib a few times before he took his seat.

After skool, Dib went with Zim curiously towards a random male's restroom, both grinning cheekily.

"You ready for this?" Zim asked, hand on the door of one stall.

Dib slowly approached. "Why wouldn't I be?" Dib flashed Zim a great smile, holding his breath.
Slowly the alien pushed the door open, disappointed when there was no writing on the inside.
The whole mountain of dreams that the whole stall would be covered in writing, perhaps even about them, being reduced to nothing more than a white stall with a few phone numbers and religious and political symbols kind of crushed Dib.
"Maybe the next?"

"Yeah," Zim said, moving the next door and opening it and looking around in it. This time there was a little drawing on the right wall, a poorly drawn picture of Zim and Dib kissing, only Zim was an alien and underneath it was written, 'Alien Kissers' and under THAT was a bunch of scribbles that people had written, declaring THEY would kiss an alien if it was hot enough.
Dib read on the notes. "I would too," He answered before giving Zim a quick kiss. "Though, I'm not sure if I'm happy or not that now they're saying you're an alien." Dib gave out a light hearted laugh.

"They don't believe it." Zim said, smiling at Dib. "They're just making fun of you, now come on; there are four more stalls to check." He pushed Dib out of the door way and moved on to the next one, then the next one.

Dib pouted, wanting to argue with that but not fighting it too hard for curiosity grabbing a tighter hold of him. Dib opened the next door. Being the first gay couple in this school was very uplifting! Here in this stall was, once again, Zim and Dib's name, and around it profanity and insults, such as 'Gay', 'Faggots', 'Emo', 'Fucking kill them or I will', and so forth. "That's inspiring."

"Yeah," Zim said, obviously unamused. "I'm so glad your generation is so open-minded."
"Not just my generation," Dib gave a sarcastic smile, "But everyone." He laughed harshly. "Come on, the next one!" He took Zim by his hand to another stall.

Zim looked around that stall, cracking up at what he found there. Inside on the door was a little picture, just like the 'Alien Kisser' one, only with Zim in his disguise and they were doing a little more than kissing.

"SCORE ONE FOR ZIM!" He cheered.

Dib scowled. "This can’t be right! Why the hell are you on top?" Dib rubbed at the drawing only to learn it was carved in.

"You know Zim is dominant." Zim said, grinning toothily at Dib and wrapping his arms around the human.

Dib snorted. "Yeah, in your wet alien dreams!" He pushed up against Zim's chest with his hand, giving him a playful smirk.

"You can't resist me and you know it." Zim said, smirking back.

"Or is it, you can’t resist me?" The human asked, pushing back against the bathroom wall coolly.
"Maybe you are crazy like everyone says." Zim said in a low voice, his smirk turning smug.

Dib 'hmph’ed, turning his head to the side. "The way you talk, why would I ever let you dominate me," He grinned darkly at Zim. "Now, owning you, however, is much, much different."
"Let me?" Zim asked, shaking his head. "I think you've got things a little backwards there, Dib-love. Now come, there are more stalls to see."

Dib grinned, pushing himself off of the wall and walking to another stall. "Convenient way to change the topic, Zim."

"There was no point in arguing," Zim stated simply, motioning to the drawing. "The stall has spoken."

"If the stalls could speak," Dib mused with himself. "They’d say the ones who wrote these were idiots." He laughed and peaked into the stall. This one was empty.

"The girls' bathrooms should yield more interesting results." Zim said, grabbing Dib's hand and leading him out of the boys'.

Onward they walked until they hit the other side of the hall and into the girl's restroom, Dib, of course, had to see if the coast was clear before he entered with Zim. "Well, bachelorette number one, what do YOU think of me and Zim going out?" Dib asked, pushing the door to the first stall open.

Zim peered around Dib and chuckled. There was an entire wall of nothing but suspected gays. A few names were crossed out, indicating that these boys were no longer suspected of being gay; they either WERE gay or proved themselves straight. He noticed both him and Dib's names crossed out.

"I'm glad to know we were already on the suspected list, I guess." Dib peered at the markings with a slight sick feeling to his stomach. "For just how long had they thought I was gay?" It was a little insulting.

"Oh come on, with how antisocial you are, you were on MY list before you even knew what gay was." Zim said teasingly, nudging Dib a little. "I don't get what the big deal is though. Since when did you care what these stink-beasts think anyway? The only person whose opinion counts is me."

Dib pouted like a child, puffing his cheeks up and crossing his arms. "I'd like to think I have more control over how I act, and that I know more about myself than others."

"Are you suggesting you AREN'T gay?" Zim asked with a smirk, wrapping his arms around Dib's neck.

"No," Dib pouted some more, sadly placing his hands on Zim's sides. "I just don’t know for how long they've suspected and you know... I'd hope that it was AFTER a figured out I liked you."

"Don’t get your feeling hurt because of something like this." Zim said, giving Dib an apologetic smile. "Especially considering it was written by a bunch of hormonally imbalanced teenage girls. The way they freak out over gay guys, it's a compliment."

Dib gave a light smile. "Yeah, you're right. We're pretty watched then, I guess, huh?" He asked, pulling Zim in closer to give him a kiss.

They continued on, checking more stalls and more bathrooms until they came to what they had been looking for the whole time. A stall completely covered in a debate on who would be on top.

Dib began reading the first statements, all of which were crossed out till last one, which was also bound to be scratched out with an argument under it. "'Zim is such a jackass, and dib is like a little girl. Therefore, says I, Zim would be on top.'" Dib red out loud before turning his gaze over to Zim, arching a brow.

Zim looked at Dib with the same expression, only with a slight smile on his face. "That's still a point for me, right?" He asked.

"You read what it says under it." Dib smirked, full of himself.

"What does it say?" Zim asked, squinting to try and see around Dib.

There, written under the 'jackass' statement, was, "Something about OCD and handcuffs...."
Dib's face lit up. "That was only four times! Geesh! You'd think they'd forget."

Zim patted Dib's back teasingly, snickering a little under his breath as he said, "One 'oh shit' can cancel out a hundred 'atta boy's."

Dib frowned. "And you know- we haven’t even used'm..."

"You want to?" Zim asked with a wide grin.

Dib's pout lifted off of his face. "Why wouldn’t I?" A smirk grazed his lips.

"You want to spend the night? Gir will be gone again, he found a new abandoned were house to party in." Zim said, smile softening a little.

Dib's smile slowly dropped. "I can’t… not tonight, sorry..." He mumbled, remembering the all time important mission his father had been set out on.

Zim pouted a little, saying, "Allllriiiiight," and slumping against Dib a little.

"Dad's ... Dad needs me tonight… so… you know… yeah, I'm sorry." Dib stated, feeling as though he had to continue onto an explanation.

"It's fiiiine," Zim said, hugging Dib. "But we HAVE to get together soon."

"I know," Dib gave a sad smile, nuzzling Zim a little lovingly. "Why don’t you just… sneak up into my room tonight?"

Zim gave Dib a blank stare for a moment before smiling wide and shouting, "Brilliant!"
"It is?" Dib asked, verifying when he thought his idea was only moderate.

"It is." Zim said simply, nodding and kissing Dib's cheek. "Makes me wonder why I didn't think of it."

"Because I'm Dib Membrane, that's why." Dib smirked, proud of himself before going back to kiss Zim back on his cheek as well.

"Let's get out of here so I can get ready." Zim said, smiling and tugging at Dib's sleeve.

Dib followed Zim until they reached outside, in which they merrily began walking off back towards their usually home order. "Soooo, whadia mean 'get ready'," Dib asked, more than a little curious on which way he meant it.

"You know, extra pair of cloths, something to sleep in... or not." Zim said with a snicker, holding Dib’s hand and swinging it lightly between them.

Dib smiled softly, his own happy laughter ringing gently between the two. "You know, we should do this a lot. Start a tradition; every night you come to my house." He grinned.

"Yeah," Zim said excitedly, smiling wider.
They stopped at Dib's house. Dib smirked at Zim. "So when should I be expecting you?"

"In an hour." Zim replied, smirking back.

Slowly Zim leaned up and placed a kiss on Dib's cheek, saying, "Be ready for me."
"I've been preparing for this moment all of my life- so!" He took a step back away from Zim and towards his home. "I'm just going to go back and prepare some more."
Zim mimicked Dib's movements, taking a step back towards his own house.

"You do that, Dib-stink." He said before turning around and with a quick wave behind him walked towards his home, breaking out into a run when he was sure he was out of Dib's sight.
Dib smiled happily, entering his humble adobe. Quickly he began his march upstairs to fix up his room.

"Son, is that you!?" Called a slightly worried Professor Membrane.

Suddenly Dib stopped in place. He debated over letting his dad know if he was home or not. Finally, with enough guilt hitting his heart. "Yeah, Dad. I'm home."

"I thought school ended an hour ago." Membrane said, suddenly appearing on the bottom step. "What took you so long to get home?"

An excuse suddenly appeared out of nowhere from Membrane's cloned son. "I retook a test I failed, Dad. I got an A."

"That's wonderful!" Membrane cried, throwing his arms out in a fit of joy. "I KNEW you could do it!"

Dib's stiffened at the lie he just fed his gullible father. "Ye-yeah… I'm… going to clean my room now, Dad, is that okay?" He asked, unsure now.

"Of course, but come back down when you're done, I'd like to discuss when we can start working on that cloning project." Membrane said, ever the scientist, before turning and walking back to the kitchen.

Dib sighed the moment he went into his room. Yes, he'll be very busy all day cleaning. He'll have to be, to be left alone with Zim. He wedged a small triangular piece of wood under his door, making for a good lock for an unlockable door. He sat on his bed and ruffled his hair just five minutes before fixing up his room.

An hour later there was a knock on Dib's window where Zim hung from the tiny ledge on his pak legs, a bag slung over his shoulder and a smile on his face.

Dib smiled back, walking over to his window and opening it up wide for the other. "Welcome to Dib's Paradise. All beds for outer-space visitors free!"

"Really?" Zim asked innocently, climbing in and throwing his bag onto the ground. "'Cause you know I wouldn't mind paying you if you just asked."

Dib grinned a bit. "Just what would you pay me?" He took Zim's claws to help him in better.

"Oh I don't know," Zim looked up as if thinking a bit before flashing Dib a smile and saying, "I think I have a few kisses to spare."

"I don’t know though," Dib grinned, turning his back on Zim once he was in. "Not that I know you'd pay, I think you'll have to do better than that." He folded his arms, smirking deviously.

"What could be better than kisses from Zim though?" Zim asked, pretending to pout. "I could add a few hugs in there but I don't want to break the bank." Just to prove himself he wrapped his arms around Dib's middle, smiling wide in amusement.

Dib smirked back at the little green fiend. "Don’t make me try to expose you as the alien you are."

"Aw, you wouldn't do that to me would you?" Zim asked, looking up at Dib, his lower lip poking out and his eyes wide.

"I would in private." He grinned, turning around to hold Zim back and nuzzle his forehead.

Smiling, Zim hummed in thought, saying, "That I wouldn't mind TOO much, I guess."

Dib, satisfied by this answer, bent down slightly, catching Zim's lips in his own. In-between kisses, he whispered quite softly, "You're the greatest thing that's ever happened to me."

"And you... me." Zim whispered back, meeting his own lips to Dib's.

Dib smiled softly around their tender kiss. The human lightly held his arms around the small of the Irken's back, letting his hands slip slowly to his pants.

The alien hummed and pressed more firmly into the kiss, his own hands slipping up Dib's shirt, scratching lightly at his back.

Dib made a soft noise in the kiss, and gently guided Zim by his hips to the bed where the human sat down, tugging at Zim to join him.

Zim sat down next to Dib, rubbing his shoulders and down his sides.

Lightly, Dib pulled a hand up to the collar of Zim's shirt where he tugged, abandoning the Irken's lips to find his shoulder's flesh.

Zim let out a deep breath, licking the taste of Dib off his lips.

Giggling light he moved one hand to Dib’s hair, saying with an amused tone in his voice, "You taste like sandwiches."

Dib hummed around the supple skin, gnawing on it lightly before pulling to ask, "What kind?" not remembering exactly what he ate at lunch.

"Salami," Zim answered, placing a kiss at the corner of Dib's lips. "The fake kind."

Dib grinned back at Zim. "I kind of want to taste like someone else at the moment, though."

"Oh? What kind of someone else?" Zim asked, smiling in a way that said he knew exactly what kind.

"A short jackass kind." Dib replied, quiet quickly, licking Zim's lips smoothly.
“'M not short." Protested the Irken, pinching Dib's side lightly.

Dib squeaked lightly at the pokes, before quickly flushing in red, grabbing hold of his sides. He looked up at Zim, blushing madly. "No fair!"

"Aw, I'm sorry," Zim said, putting a hand over his mouth dramatically. "Want me to kiss them better?"

Dib pouted shortly before a sudden grin invaded his face. "Why, yes! Yes I do." He took his hands off of Zim to pull his own shirt up for the alien, grinning wickedly.

"Ok," Zim said, smiling as he bent down, wrapping his arms around Dib’s waist and nuzzling the boy's left side before kissing it softly.

The teen couldn’t help but wiggle his legs and giggle, nuzzling his face into the back of Zim's head. "That tickles, too!"

"How about this?" Zim asked as he nipped lightly on the human's skin.

Dib fell back onto the bed, yipping in pleasure, and pulling up the back of Zim's shirt, eager for his boyfriend's shirt to come off now.

Zim moved his arms up to help Dib with the process of removing his shirt, shivering a little as the cool air met his skin.

The door handle turned and there was a grunt when the person on the other side attempted to just push the door open and had to lean on it to get it to fully move, revealing a very shocked looking Professor Membrane.

Dib turned his head to look at what was making the noise at the door in equal shock, still holding Zim in his hands as he ever once in a while bit at his side. "D-Dad!" He stumbled over his words. "Wh-This isn’t what it looks like!"

Zim sat up and smoothed his shirt back down, face flushing slightly as Membrane just seemed to stare at the two before asking, "What IS it then, explain it to me." In an eerie sort of calm.

Dib hesitated, looking around, and beginning to sweat for all the reasons he didn’t expect for today. "He... He was--" He searched his mind for an excuse- Any excuse would be fine- just something..! He sat up, propping himself with his hands. "We were going to trade shirts for the day- but he accidentally fell over on me!" That. Was. Lame.

"Oh, ok then." Membrane said, clearly not buying Dib's excuse. "Green foreign kid," he pointed to Zim. "Go home. Son," he pointed to Dib. "Downstairs in the kitchen in fifteen minutes." With that he turned, slamming the door behind himself.

Dib bit his bottom lip, staring low as he shifted his body into a better sitting position- one that made no physical contact with Zim's. He cleared his throat, visibly worried.

Zim looked worriedly at Dib, reaching out to hold his hand as he asked, "Want me to stay?"

"He told you to go home, though." Dib sighed. "What would you do here?"

"Moral support?" Zim offered, using his other hand to brush some hair out of Dib's face.

Dib shook his head low, accidentally knocking the hair back on his face. "It's alright... He had to find out eventually.."

"Ok, but...." Zim leaned forward to place a kiss on Dib's cheek, saying, "You'll call me if you need me, right?"

"Right." Dib sighed, wrapping his arms around Zim's neck briefly in a light hug, taking in his scent before he'd have to go.

"Good," Zim said, doing much the same to Dib before pulling back and saying, "And you know you can call me any time of the night, I don't have to sleep, remember?"

Dib let out a sad 'heh', "Yeah, I know Zim. I'll do that if I need anything… anything at all." He assured the other, once more giving him a kiss on the lips.

"Good luck then," Zim sighed, standing up and moving over to grab his stuff.

Dib smiled just slightly. All that for nothing. He stood and walked to his door, watching Zim lazily. "Sorry about this… I'll see you when I see you, I guess."

"Don't apologize, it was bound to happen." Zim said before smirking and whispering in Dib’s ear, "Want to know what I'll be up all night doing?"

"Hm?" Dib noised in curiosity.

"Making you a security system for your room." Zim replied, before leaning back and giving Dib a triumphant smile. "Let's see your dad catch us next time."

Dib couldn’t help but laugh lightly at the humor around that. "Thanks, Zim..." He gave him another quick kiss. "I appreciate it."

"Not a problem," Zim said after kissing Dib back. He gave the human a wave and head down the stairs. "See you tomorrow I guess."

"Bye." Dib whispered, waving back with a small smile.
